Golden Mile Complex houses the major thai community in Singapore. The Thais operate the retail in the day, and work in the night disco during the later hours. >10PM is a wigshop whom target audience are the transsexuals who are the
customers of the night disco and the retailers themselves. By translating the brutalism movement to >10PM as an interior , it would result in the modular composition of form, along with introducing the colours and lighting of night disco, it would create a diversified atmosphere of brutalism.
Golden Mile Complex itself has a very strong identity, which is brutalism. As the project is located in Golden Mile Complex itself, there is no need to find a framework as it would only contradict with the exterior. And thus, my framework would be bringing in the brutalist exterior to my retail, and translating brutalism from an external movement as an interior expression.
